Happy World Doula Week! We are so excited to celebrate and honour the excellent work of our amazing Graceful Birth Doula team.
Doulas are certified professionals who provide emotional and physical support to those who are expecting or have recently given birth. Our team of doulas is made up of eight passionate and dedicated individuals, Grace, Tricia, Charmaine, Maggie, Carla, Helen, Kim and Aubrey.
Grace has a strong passion for helping families through the birthing process, and was inspired to start her own business 15 years ago, Graceful Birth Doula Services Inc. She founded this business with the intention of providing the highest quality and most comprehensive doula support to those expecting and in the postpartum period.
Graceful Birth Doula Services Inc. offers a variety of services to meet the individual needs of each family, such as prenatal education, labour support, postpartum support, and more. Grace also provides resources and support to expecting and postpartum families, such as nutrition and breastfeeding support, mental health resources, and more.
Grace is a firm believer in the power of doula care and is dedicated to providing the best possible support to those who seek it. Over the years she has built a strong community of doulas and helped families create beautiful, safe, and positive birthing experiences. Here’s a little bit about her team:
Tricia is an experienced doula who has supported and cared for families in the birthing process for many years. She has a calm and reassuring presence that is especially helpful in times of stress.
Charmaine has been a doula for over a decade and is passionate about helping families navigate the many physical and emotional changes that can come along with pregnancy and childbirth. She is an excellent listener, patient and compassionate.
Maggie has a vast knowledge of the birthing process and loves sharing her knowledge with her clients. She is a great advocate for families and is dedicated to providing them with the best possible care.
Carla is a warm and caring night doula passionate about helping families create the best possible birthing experience for themselves and their babies. She is a skilled listener and is always there to provide support and guidance.
Helen is an experienced doula passionate about providing families with the best possible care and support. She is a great listener and provides a calm and reassuring presence to her clients.
Kim is committed to providing families with the best support and care possible. She is a great advocate for families and is passionate about helping them create the best possible birthing experience for themselves and their babies.
Aubrey is an experienced night doula who has supported and cared for families for many years. She is a great listener, patient and compassionate, and committed to helping families create the best possible birthing experience for themselves and their babies.
